The purpose of this Privacy Policy is to describe how and when I collect, use and share your information when you share your personal data with me (handmade jewellery) This can be from
> an order or purchase from me using Facebook.
> contacting with any questions etc. This Privacy Policy does not apply to the practices of third parties that I use, as I don't control them however I do ensure that they are GDPR compliant.
Throughout this policy - 'You', 'Your', Yourself' refers to the customer, enquirer or anyone a customised order was made 'I', 'Me', 'Myself', 'We', 'Us', refers to handmade jewellery.
1. Information I collect
To enquire, or place and order from us, I require certain information from yourself. Depending on the order, I may require any of the information - the details of the item you wish to enquire about or order, your name, email address, postal address, payment information.
2. Why I need your information and how I use it.
I rely on a number of legal bases to collect, use, and share your information including:
I use your information to fulfil your order, provide customer service with enquiries or to settle disputes. To ask and retain as proof of your order. Your consent for me using any images of your personalised orders that are made incorporating any personal data you have provided me. If necessary to comply with a legal obligation or court order in connection with a legal claim. However, all information is deleted after 6 months from completion of order of order and delivery or collection.
3. Information Sharing and Disclosure.
I share your personal information only when necessary.
Royal Mail - Your name, address and brief content of parcel for the means of delivering the parcel to you.
PayPal - Your name, email address for the means of payments (if applicable), or in certain circumstances, for filling a refund.
Email If applicable. (Gmail) - used for contact between customers and us. Compliance with laws.. I may collect, use, retain, and share your information If I have a good faith belief that is reasonably necessary to: (a) respond to legal process or to government requests. (b) enforce my agreements, terms and policies. (c): prevent, investigate, and address fraud and other legal activity, security, or technical issues, or (d) protect the rights, property, and safety of my customers, or others.
4. Data Retention
I retain your personal information only for as long as necessary to provide you with my services and as described in my privacy policy. However, I may also be required to retain this information to comply with my my legal and regulatory obligations, to resolve disputes, and to enforce my agreements. I generally keep your data for three months If I have not already deleted it. At this point I delete everything that I do not require for future use. Some details however, still nee to be retained if I have used or displayed any images containing personal information.
5. Transfer of Personal Information Outside the EU.
I may store and process your information through third-party hosting services in the US and other jurisdictions. As a result I may transfer your personal information to a jurisdiction with different data protection and government surveillance than your jurisdiction. If I am deemed to transfer information about you outside of the EU, I rely on Privacy Shield as the legal basis for the transfer, as Google is Privacy Shield certified.
6. Your Rights.
If you reside in certain territories, including the EU, you have a number of rights in relation to your personal information. While some of these rights apply generally, certain rights apply only in certain limited cases. I describe these rights below.
Access. You may have the right to access and receive a copy of the personal information I hold about you by contacting me using the contact information below.
Change, restrict, delete. You may also have the right to change, restrict my use of, or delete your personal information.
Absent, exceptional circumstances (like where I am required to store data for legal reasons) I will generally delete your personal information on request.
Object. You can object to (i) my processing of some of your information based on my legitimate interests.
Complain. If you reside in the EU and wish to raise a concern about my use of your information (and without prejudice to any other rights you might have), you have the right to do so with your local data protection authority.
